My name is Lia, and I am an experienced English teacher with over five years in the field. I have conducted more than 3,000 classes. Throughout my career, I have worked on about seven different teaching websites. However, I am particularly interested in finding a platform that offers convenient features for both students and teachers. One of my key priorities is having the flexibility to implement my own learning method, as I create personalized study plans tailored to each student’s needs. Platforms that restrict my ability to do so would not be a suitable fit.

I have been teaching English to immigrants and students since I was 18 and most of them were starters who wanted to learn the basics. As for higher levels of English proficiency, I have more than 5 years of experience helping English learners prepare for IELTS (and recently PTE). My teaching method depends heavily on the student. I usually teach the fundamental rules of grammar and then engage in conversations with the students, where they can hear me use the same rules and are forced to produce language using the same rules. As for IELTS and PTE participants, I first teach the tests and then start troubleshooting all the problems that keep the participants at low band scores.
