I have been working as a foreign language teacher since 1987 and to this day. From 1997 to 2005, I also worked as an interpreter for missionaries from the United States and was also an interpreter while working for the American company Raytheon later in the same period. I apply an individual approach to my students. I am fluent in Ukrainian, Polish and English. The language of instruction is Ukrainian. It is possible to teach in Polish and English, as well as interspersed with Russian to explain certain incomprehensible linguistic terms.

Jonathan van Hassel
My competencies align well with the qualifications you desire of a language lecturer. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Media and Communications and a TEFL certificate. My passion lies in educating Dutch to adults online. Furthermore, between 2016 and 2021 I tutored English for five years at “Longwell Language Center” Suzhou, China.Managing the speaking abilities of students proved to be challenging, though gratifying. I tailor activities to maintain the interest of apprentices by pursuing critical, didactic correctness. Thanks to my experience, I learned how to incorporate practical concepts that are playful and easy to grasp for everyone.

1. Where do I even start, there’s so much to do… 2. These words are so strange, how can I remember them? 3. I don’t understand anything when I listen to native speakers. 4. I’m afraid to make a mistake, it’s better to stay silent altogether. 5. I don’t have time to learn the language every day, and without that, it won’t work. 6. It’s so difficult, maybe I’m just not cut out for it? 7. I keep forgetting words all the time, what’s the point? 8. What if I say something silly and they laugh at me? 9. I probably don’t have a knack for languages. 10. I will never learn this language, it’s too difficult for me. 11. I’m already an adult, can you really learn a language at this age? 12. It seems to me that I will never speak fluently. 13. Maybe I should just give up and not torture myself?Do you see yourself in this? Then come join us.Don’t expect a huge leap – start with a small step.Step by step – and you will already be where you dreamed to be.
