I graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology, culture and education. I mastered and am specialized in phonic education, practicing different playful and fun activities. I hold a CertTESOL 5 from London which is a certificate for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. 27 years of experience with students of all levels and ages. Role-playing using the phonics method is a technique that I use to teach.

In February 2025 I received TEFL, TESOL certificates after 120 hours of study. A dedicated foreign language teacher with 25 years of experience. I effectively encourage and lead students to their goals. Languages are my passion! I am honored to explain a subject to a student simply and clearly. As a tutor, i love my job and I do it with a lot of passion. As a teacher, I understand that effective communication, respect and love are the keys to success. Hello there! My name is Vanessa and I am a business undergraduate. I am from the Netherlands and I am 24 years old. My hobbies are to sing, dance, listen to music, write songs and poems, reading, shopping, go for walks/explore nature and art! I have done tutoring in the English language, beginner Dutch language and beginner French language. Languages were my favourite subject group growing up. And as an ESL ex student myself, I can somewhat relate to learning English as a second language. I would say my teaching style is very observant/adaptable. Everyone is different in terms of what they know and what they need. I would like to know what your difficulties and strengths are. So that I can tailor lesson materials and delivery accordingly.
