I am David and I am a passionate Slovak language tutor and English conversation partner with over 5 years of experience. I am 27 years old and I am a PhD student from Slovakia. Currently I am trying to fill empty sections of my schedule so I am trying to achieve that via Start Language School by Tymur Levitin platform. I have a deep passion for languages and teaching and I will be happy to help anyone with improving their Slovak or English language skills.

I graduated with a degree in English teaching from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. I love the language, teaching, and sharing my classroom knowledge with students. I enjoy learning about languages and different methodologies. I am patient and believe that little by little we can go very far. I am open to exploring various types of classes that are most comfortable and beneficial for my students. It would be a pleasure to help you find the best method to learn and develop your language skills. I am an English teacher with experience both online and in person. I have been learning English for more than 15 years, and have traveled. I am also a Portuguese teacher with experience online. Portuguese is my mother tongue; I can teach at any level and explain not only the language but also Brazilian culture, including music, movies, history, literature, and travel tips about the country, such as what to do and what to avoid while traveling. My classes are tailored to the needs of the student. I teach all levels, from beginners to advanced, as well as conversation classes, and accommodate ages from kids to adults. As both a student and a teacher, I understand that everyone has a different way of learning. My main goal is to teach you languages using the best method that makes you feel comfortable and motivated to learn.

I believe that within two months of starting to learn a language, a person should be able to speak at a basic level. Among my interests are history and political science, in which I received excellent grades in my university courses. I have worked at an educational center, engaged in recruitment, advertising, internet marketing, and sales. I have also worked in Germany and Sweden in logistics and construction. I love learning and am committed to self-education. For several years, I read and listened to 120 books a year. Now, I read around 48. I completed courses in "Massage and Aromatherapy" at the Ukrainian Scientific and Educational Center "Prestige," "Photo-Video Model" at the modeling school "InStars," and business training with top domestic and foreign entrepreneurs at "CEH-27" from "Business-Molodost." I have practiced martial arts – karate, boxing, and Muay Thai. Currently, I teach and enhance my knowledge of English and Swedish. I am writing a book about methods for setting and achieving goals. I’m not a professional educator, but when someone needs to learn something I know and can teach, I share my knowledge. I am quite a demanding tutor. It’s important to me that my students put effort into their learning and show results; otherwise, I feel disappointed and that I am wasting my time. I want to see hardworking, serious students who are not lazy, so I do not offer lessons for preschoolers.
