I am Andrea and I live in Sicily, I have a degree in Communication and Public Relations from the Faculty of Political Sciences, I am a theater actor, and I am passionate about photography, cinema, travel, and sports in general.
I have been teaching Italian for about two years, and I have mainly taught foreigners from all over the world.
During my lessons, I use classical or modern texts, and I use my photographs to explain and describe everything they see. I organize conversations on topics of common interest. I use audio recordings to practice pronunciation and sentence structure. I create a total immersion environment where only Italian is spoken. I focus the first lessons on listening and comprehension, slowly introducing oral and written production."
Your teaching methods sound both engaging and effective! Using your photographs must provide a wonderful personal touch to your lessons. How have your students responded to this approach?
