🌟 DESCRIPTION (Lesson 17 – At the Playground)

Welcome to Lesson 17: At the Playground!
In this lesson, children learn useful everyday English through fun activities at the playground. They will explore words like slide, swing, seesaw, sandbox, climb, push, pull, chase, and take turns, followed by natural sentences and a friendly dialogue. Perfect for teaching real-life communication simply and engagingly!

Vocabulary (with meanings)
Slide – a smooth surface children go down from

Swing – a seat that moves back and forth

Seesaw – a long board that moves up and down

Sandbox – a box filled with sand for playing

Climb – to go upward using hands and feet

Push – to move something forward

Pull – to bring something toward you

Playtime – time to play and have fun

Chase – to run after someone

Take turns – to wait for your turn

Sentences Using the Vocabulary

  1. The children are going down the slide happily.
  2. I like to sit on the swing and move back and forth.
  3. They are playing on the seesaw together.
  4. The girls are building a castle in the sandbox.
  5. He wants to climb the ladder.
  6. Can you push me on the swing?

💬 DIALOGUE (At the Playground)

Ali: Wow! This playground looks fun. Which game should we play first?
Sara: Let’s go to the slide! I want to go down fast.
Ali: Okay! After that, can you push me on the swing?
Sara: Sure! But let’s take turns.
Ali: Look! The kids are playing on the seesaw.
Sara: And some are building a sandcastle in the sandbox.
Ali: Do you want to chase each other after playtime?
Sara: Yes! But first, I want to climb the ladder.
Ali: Great! Let’s play!
